The 2010 takes its proportions from the 990 lineage and its layered detailing from New Balance's early 2000s running shoes, then refines both into something calmer. This version adds a waterproof Gore-Tex build, which makes the 2010 a proper shoe for Dutch autumn and winter. It's all in black, so it keeps a quiet, tonal look, with reflective details on the tongue and heel for the darker months.
